A ZANY SCREWBALL COMEDY THE DICTATOR Review By John Delia Silly, brainless, raunchy, ridiculous, bizarre, outrageous, inane yet somehow funny, The Dictator, a screwball story

Methodically delivered The Raven provides a suspense mystery that chills and thrills. Set in the mid 1800’s the Edgar Allan Poe based story has all the earmarks of a winning box office weekend. With excellent direction controlling fine actors and a sold script, the film moves to the top of my best of 2012.

Much like most of Jason Segel’s films the comedy runs high in The Five-Year Engagement with strong performances, good direction and a decent script. It’s another romance film, but this one does have an edge that keeps this ditty reasonably fresh. Take a date or a gang the laughter gets contagious so sit back and enjoy a break from social networking.

Jason Statham has made a career out of violent action thrillers like Crank,The Transporter, The Expendables, The Mechanic and more. In his newest film Safe however, he tops any of his past films for action, acting and realism. The heart pounding adrenaline pumping movie is a must see for thrill seekers.
