For all Tuesdays in November, Las Vegas locals and guests are invited to special screenings of classic movies adapted from stage pieces.
As far as Robert Pattinson is concerned, we know very well that he’s wonderful, talented and charming. And not that we get tired of mentioning it, frequently, but it’s nice when other not-as-rabid fans go out of their way to say nice things about our Rob.
Suppose you want to watch some movies on Halloween that are not necessarily scary.
The true story behind the composition of Mary Shelley’s novel “Frankenstein” has captured the imagination of filmmakers since at least “The Bride of Frankenstein.” That sequel to the original Universal Studios horror classic opens with a framing device in which Mary, Percy Shelley, and Lord Byron sit around while Mary tells them her story.
With Halloween rapidly approaching, I’m curious how many people are aware of or have heard of filmmaker Dario Argento. He is the Italian answer to Alfred Hitchcock, and his influence on horror and slasher movies is very profound

From classic horror movies to the more recent additions of found footage scares, there is plenty to choose from. However, there are also a nice number of movies for comic book horror fans looking for something fun to fill in their Halloween night …
While many people look at Halloween and immediately think of horror movies, there is another aspect to the holiday: candy. Kids get all dressed up in their Halloween costumes and head out with their bags and pumpkin baskets and yell trick or treat, hoping for the best in candy treats.
Johnny English Reborn: Rowan Atkinson is a scream in this very funny (though ever so slightly long) spy spoof, with the comedian as an inept MI7 agent. Lots of laughs throughout, including a few big ones. Rated PG
Like modern action movies that keep adding more CGI and bigger explosions, horror movies these days try to entertain their jaded audiences with increasingly elaborate and gruesome effects. On Halloween, however, some of us are just looking for a good scare and an entertaining thriller of a story.
