G-FORCE

I liked G-Force, it’s a very good family film filled with comedy and adventure that kids and most parents will like. It’s a rollercoaster ride in 3D as the film pops out at a frequency that keeps youngsters grabbing at the air and pushing themselves to the back of their seats.

HUMPDAY

Although Humpday is groundbreaking in that it show’s the other side of the temptation to experiment with alternate sex, I found the film insincere and lifeless. In fact I really don’t know to what lifestyle to even recommend the movie. Most of the gay lifestylers will leave the theater with an empty feeling, and I don’t think male straights will make it thorough to the enlightening ending.

I LOVE YOU BETH COOPER

Unfortunately I saw the trailer for I Love You Beth Cooper and was expecting a lame film with some bad acting. Well I must admit, the film was quite good, with some nice performances from Rust and Panettiere and witty support by the rest of the cast. If teen movies are your passion, then run to see this film.

BRUNO

He did it with Borat and now Sacha Baron Cohen does it again with Bruno an offensive, irritating, vulgar and provocative character that is sure to affront most everyone. But, although the film is contemptuous and irreverent, Cohen’s tongue in cheek performance had me laughing during all of the most outlandish film ever. Upon leaving the theatre however, I said to myself, did I just sit through that? If you are not easily insulted, don’t need a lot of plot and like your films very raunchy, then Bruno should be on your must see list.

Up

An animated adventure comedy bursts on the screen from Disney-Pixar; it’s called Up and the touching high flyer is excellent for the whole family. The Disney-Pixar formula of making a film that is spirited and interesting with the ability to warm your heart has not changed here, only the storyline and the characters.
