NO STRINGS ATTACHED review by John Delia

Romance with sex is the best way to describe No Strings Attached. The fast paced openly sexual film takes liberties using artistic license and lets it all hang out. This comedy’s not for the prudent or immature and has no class whatsoever. If it embarrasses you, then your morals are still in tact. If not, you probably had a good time.

ONE NIGHT WITH DICE on DVD review by John Delia

Sit back, turn on the subtitles so you won’t miss a word and have a ball. One Night With Dice takes you on a walk down 1980’s memory lane when Andrew Dice Clay was the toast of the stand-up comedians. Now on DVD for the first time the show shocker pulls no punches, defies social norms and gives all he’s got.

THE DILEMMA reviewed by Alyn Darnay

The Dilemma crawled up and surprised me. I was expecting a light comedy with some dramatic moments, what I got was a serious film with some comedic moments thoughtfully exploring the universal topics of fidelity and friendship, and I liked it. It’s actually hard to describe this film in terms of genre, definitely a ‘bromance’, perhaps a comedy/drama, either way, to me that makes for a true viewers delight.

I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS review by John Delia

Here’s an odd love story that is actually based on fact. It’s called I Love You Phillip Morris and features interesting roles by Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor who fall in love when they meet as prisoners in a penitentiary. Daring performances heat up the screen with their oddball characters challenging the criminal justice system and social standards.

GULLIVER’S TRAVELS review by John Delia

What’s extra good about the 3D movie Gulliver’s Travels is that it contains almost no offensive material, so most families can bring their children without too much worry that they will get offended. Even though we have Jack Black as the lead character there really isn’t a lot of rude humor. If you have young children and they like adventure films with comedy, then Gulliver’s Travels should make them happy.

Now on screens everywhere How Do You Know, a lively romantic comedy that hits a home run in acting, direction and screenplay. The film does what most comedies seem to have missed, entertain with heart. If you like your romance with an interesting story, fun characters and a lot of energy, then How Do You Know should be high on your list.

MORNING GLORY review by John Delia

If Rachel McAdams ever needed uplift in her career, Morning Glory does the trick. The very funny well-acted script puts McAdams in the thick of things and she shines. The chemistry among the star-studded cast keeps the laughs coming all the way to its touching ending. It may be a bit predictable, but most comedies are these days.

MEGAMIND review by John Delia

One of the top animated films for 2010 has hit the screen, and the adventure is fun to watch. Even though skewed a great deal toward an adult audience, Megamind does have all the silliness that children love. If you want a family film that reaches out to a wide audience and has excellent voice acting then you need to see Megamind.

DUE DATE review by John Delia

Both Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galifianakis are equally funny in Due Date, a road trip film that has decent timing and nice character chemistry. The film tends to get sidetracked at one point, but otherwise it moves along at a fine clip.
