Review by John M. Delia, Jr.

“Kingsman” are an undercover group that manages to rescue the world without anyone actually knowing. These well-dressed proper mannered agents deal with many dangerous situations to overcome impossible odds to save the day. Now, England’s most secret service agency are back in business after the first films adventure and ready to face more threatening situations.

This time the agency is facing a new mission that again will have global implications, against another lunatic and her strange plan to take over the world. Meet Poppy (Julianne Moore), an interesting villain who presents herself real calmly and always gets people to do what she wants them to do. She is running a secret society called “The Golden Circle”, and looking to expand its business exploits.

Taron Egerton stars in Twentieth Century Fox’s “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” also starring Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Channing Tatum, Mark Strong, Elton John, Halle Berry and Jeff Bridges.

As the business changes, Eggsy (Taron Egerton) has a new challenge, very similar to his first mission he has to locate and identify who the diabolical villain is and do this before she destroys the world. Only this time, he must do it without the Kingsman. Now dating Princess Tilde (Hanna Alstrom), he also has his hands tied with trying to impress her father, (Bjorn Granath) “The King of Sweden” and mother, (Lena Endre) “The Queen of Sweden”.

Channing Tatum and Halle Berry in Twentieth Century Fox’s “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” also starring Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, Julianne Moore, Mark Strong, Elton John, and Jeff Bridges.

Low on resources and short on time Eggsy and Merlin (Mark Strong) find help from another agency, called the “Statesman”. Here they put together a team that that includes, Whiskey (Pedro Pascal), Tequila (Channing Tatum), Ginger (Halle Berry, and Champ (Jeff Bridges) and collectively they work at stopping this secret society before they destroy the earth.

Director Matthew Vaugh puts together an cool story to compliment the first installment. It is well directed and keeping with the first film’s strategy goes over well. The action scenes are put together brilliantly and work well with Vaugh’s overall plan. Along with some first-rate acting this storyline will do well on the big screen and maybe even at the box office.

Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, and Pedro Pascal star in Twentieth Century Fox’s “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” also starring Julianne Moore, Channing Tatum, Mark Strong, Elton John, Halle Berry and Jeff Bridges.

This action packed film includes many comical scenes that make this tale fun to watch, especially many quick one liners given by Elton John. If you like secret agent films, love action, look forward to good comedy, then this one is for you. This  is a well put together and an entertaining event worth seeing at the theater.

Final Comment: I based my grade on the outstanding action scenes and tremendous storyline. 4 out of 5 stars
