Technology has really taken a big leap with 3D home viewing and many films with the original format are now available on Blu-ray 3D. This is the case with the newest Disney Release to 3D called Mars Needs Moms.

For the first time ever in high-definition, consumers can now experience the brilliant, humor-filled adventures of best friends Copper and Tod in an all-new digitally restored version of the original 1981 film, arriving to stores on August 9, 2011.

If you love stand-up comedians and situation comedy check out Louie Season 1 an FX production now on DVD/Blu-ray. The down to earth divorced comic puts on a great show and each episode gets funnier as the series plays out.
If you missed the first season or any part of The Glades, it’s now out on DVD. The weekly cop show has a whole lot of entertainment built around a fine cast that keeps you coming back week after week. And with it being on DVD you can watch each episode without those pesky commercials. I like The Glades and find the series to be suspenseful mixed with romance and humor.
Season four finds Westen hooking up with Fiona and Sam in some incredible situations from bad bikers, Chinese mafia to black listed spies (and that’s just the first disc). I do have to admit, the addition of Cody Bell, as burned spy Jesse Garcia, is a brilliant move. The writing seems to get better from season to season and I found four right up at the top.
Talking about eye-popping 3D, the current release of Gnomeo & Juliet provides a heaping helping of the special entertainment on Blu-ray. The combo pack provides four ways to watch the film Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray disc, DVD and a Digital Copy so even if you do not have 3D right now, it’s yours for the future.
Here is a cool film that reminds me of a cross between the television show X-Files and the comic book heroes the X-Men. Now on DVD I Am Number Four plays very nicely on the small screen and especially on Blu-ray.
Excellent computer generated graphics in 3D in the action adventure Tron: Legacy are now available now available for you home entertainment system. I am pleasantly surprised by Blu-ray 3D which provides some great moments on the home screen.
