A look at some DVDs scheduled to be released in the weeks ahead.
Last week, Christmas came early for many of the Maniacs on this site. Universal Studios, in celebration of their 100th anniversary, released the Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection. For all those horror aficionados, this box set was long in coming.

Skip It The Courier is a tired thriller, filled with tired actors playing tired characters, wrapped up in a tired story. There is exactly one scene in the movie where anyone looks like they’re making an effort, and it’s the only scene in the movie that’s memorable or interesting
