Taking a small segment from “Saturday Night Live” and making it into a full-length feature takes a lot of ingenuity, imagination and money, all three of which are accomplished with the very funnyt MacGruber. The hilarious adult comedy hits the screen with a bang and provides a very funny hour and twenty-eight minutes of entertainment. The target audience for MacGruber is adult males and best viewed with a group of them.
When documentaries like Casino Jack and the United States of Money get released, I look for the motive. In this new film by Alex Gibney (won an Oscar for his documentary film Taxi to the Dark Side) we find a political satire on the level of Director Michael Moore (Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko).

Laden with funny comments, snappy dialogue and a decent script, Shrek Forever After is fun for adults and the rest of the family. Oh. You thought Shrek was only for kids? Well guess again, as this forth edition of the crazy life of green swamp ogre goes straight for adults and achieves its goal with just reward. The kids you ask, they’ll be too busy laughing at Shreklets (I just invented the word. It means a baby Shrek; ogerlets just doesn’t work for me) burps, donkey complaints, an overweight cat, wicked witches and much, much more. You can bet your Chimichangas the whole family will love it.
As a co-production in their unique partnership, Random House Inc.’s Random House Films division and Focus Features are developing the adventure thriller The Tiger, which Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Guillermo Arriaga (Babel) is adapting for producer Darren Aronofsky (The Wrestler) and his Protozoa Pictures from John Vaillant’s upcoming nonfiction book The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival.
