The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLiFF) announced their highly anticipated film line-up for the 25th Anniversary edition. The landmark event will begin September 27 and conclude November 11 presenting over 175 films including 10 World Premieres, 11 U.S.
Delightfully catchy, You Again matches up very good talent to characters like Disney did with Freaky Friday and Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. The film moves along at a fast clip using situation comedy at it’s best. Although it tends to be a ‘chick flick,’ it should be amusing enough for the males in the family as well.

Well moms I am amazed at how technology has progressed in children’s entertainment. From the days of Winnie the Pooh to the now Tinker Bell series the GGI guys are now tops in the filed of animation. Although I do not profess as an adult to really ‘love’ the story that brings the adventure into your living room, I do give the filmmakers of Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue high regard for children’s entertainment.
The quirky musical comedy Bran Nue Dae hits the screen spreading laughter, light hearted tunes and a down under tale about love and religion. Well not so much religion, but a rebellion of sorts that has a priest on the chase. It’s a fun look at a lot of nonsense with a bevy of songs that entertain.
