Well moms I am amazed at how technology has progressed in children’s entertainment. From the days of Winnie the Pooh to the now Tinker Bell series the GGI guys are now tops in the filed of animation. Although I do not profess as an adult to really ‘love’ the story that brings the adventure into your living room, I do give the filmmakers of Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue high regard for this wonderful family friendly story.
The story is light and adventurous involving the early years of Tinker Bell and her meeting with her first human. During the fairy’s summer visit to the meadows of England Tink runs into a young girl called Lizzy who has always believed in fairies. During a rescue attempt, the two worlds become one with Tink risking all to save the day.
The full-legnth animated film features many kid friendly bonus extras on both the Blu-ray and DVD, so no one will be disappointed no matter which format you purchase. That’s a big thing for children’s home entertainment as not all studios put the extras on both formats. And, with this movie two of the bonuses are interactive featuring “Design a Fairy House†and “Fairy Field Guide Builder.’
