Just over a decade after X-Men comes this rather welcome prequel, with Bryan Singer in active producer mode and director Matthew Vaughn finally in the Marvel Universe. Ten years ago, your typical cab driver lacked the power to start a casting rumor, and we never would have thought Brett Ratner would help bring a franchise crashing to the ground. May this decade bring hope for a continuation of the original series and a good Wolverine sequel.
