“What If?” Animated Marvel Series on Disney+

The series What If…? Season One, gets off to a big bang. Following a quick statement by the Watcher, he continues with an introduction of situations and characters starting June of 1943. With the superpowers banding together against the Nazi Armies a super soldier was needed and Captain America became a reality. After the world was saved a whole new hero was created in another age. It was a trying time as the story begins handing off the duties to a new possible superhero, Agent Carter.

This series begins an adventure that will take you across the world and galaxy on a roller coaster of infinite proportion. First, facing interaction with Hitler’s Hydra division using Odin’s Tesseract to conquer the world, the Allies need a super soldier to take them on. But if Howard Stark has anything to say, he’ll develop the tools for a leader. Enter Captain Carter with Howard’s new shield, not unlike that of the one he developed for Steve Roger’s Captain America.

 

But, Nazi Hydra is not going to take a loss laying down, and they summon their new super soldier from another galaxy. The animated series is nicely thought out with adventurous explosions and taught dialogue throughout. Marvel fans will recognize the many superheroes and be amused by some of the new ones.

Now on Disney+, the series will have 10 chapters with one debuting each week. The episodes have not been rated, but contain a lot of war action and fantasy violence. The series is exciting to watch and a must see for Marvel fans of all ages.
