Let’s be honest: There’s nothing entertaining about paranoid schizophrenia.

‘Beetlejuice’ This cartoon is no ordinary film-inspired adaptation. This toon was executive produced by the film’s director Tim Burton, who brought his unique sensibilities to this work, which ran four seasons. Best part?
If you’ve seen a trailer for any of the LEGO Batman video games, you’ve probably wondered to yourself what it would be like if you could see a full-length adventure done in the LEGO style.
I admit that I’m quite happy that Dexter has made it this far. I’m also a bit surprised that a show about a serial killer working in the forensics lab of Miami Metro police has gotten this far.
Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird — well, it’s two birds, but we’ll get to that later.
‘Jack Reacher’ There are a lot of Tom Cruise movies I’d rather watch than “Jack Reacher,†his recent thriller in which Cruise stars as the title tough guy who helps investigate a shooting.
Nobody goes into a Quentin Tarantino film expecting a realistic story with a deeply serious tone. Tarantino is a master storyteller with a comedic and dramatic flair; “Django Unchained†is a great story, but might not appeal to everyone.
‘Manborg’ The super-indie sci-fi horror film “Manborg†is not what you’d call a good movie. The acting is laughable, the effects are cheesy and the script is groan worthy. But that’s by design.
‘The Impossible’ There are few movie scenes you’ll see this year as intense and nerve-racking as when floodwaters pummel a resort and leave a family struggling to survive in this based-on-a-true-story thriller about the 2004 devastation in Thailand from an earthquake and tsunami.
