SOURCE CODE review by John Delia

Suspenseful, explosive and intriguing Source Code breaks the mold in this thriller that entertains. The intricate plot constantly changes making the tale gripping and mysterious in a fantasy action adventure that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

INSIDEOUS review by John Delia

There are many bumps in the night in the film Insidious, but not enough acting delivery to make the horror work. I do admit I jumped and flinched on a few occasions as director James Wan does set you up for some exciting chills, but it’s not enough to give the film even an average grade.

PSYCHOSIS on DVD reviewed by John Delia

Although Psychosis is somewhat predictable it still deserves a watch on DVD. The directing and cinematography make the plot work with suspense-laden scenes, extreme horror thrills and a surprising twist that comes early on in the film. I am going to recommend the film for another big reason; the bonus feature ‘The Making of Psychosis’ is a great tool for would be actors, cinematographers and directors.

‘I AM NUMBER FOUR’ review by John Delia

The movie I Am Number Four falls somewhere between an episode of the X-Men and X Files with all the excitement, special creatures and cunning storyline. The action starts early and continues, following an introduction of subsequent characters, providing an adrenaline kick for action junkies. I like I Am Number Four even though it could have easily been a cable film on FX. I wouldn’t doubt that it’s where we will find the next sequel.

UNSTOPPABLE review by John Delia

Incredible as it may seem Unstoppable takes a ‘what if?’ premise and turns it into an event. Inspired by a true occurrence, director Tony Scott sculpts a high energy thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat from it’s suspense filled beginning to the cringing end of the line. If you are familiar with Tony Scott’s work then you know his brand of explosive storytelling aimed at thrill seekers and Unstoppable tops his list.

THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET’S NEST reviewed by Alyn Darnay

Ok, let’s put it out there right from the beginning, the third installment of The Millennium Trilogy is as good or better than the rest of the series and a worthy addition. It recaptures the provocative appeal of the outstanding first film, tones down the action/violence of the second movie and wraps up everything with a true thrill ride consisting of an intelligent plot, the continuation of great performances by a very talented cast, and delivering a beautiful and most satisfying finale.

THE AMERICAN written review by Delia

I wish I could say that The American is a thrill a minute, but it isn’t. It would be nice if I could tell you that the story is something new and different, but not that either. I want to say that George Clooney does a terrific job of acting, well THAT I CAN SAY and it saves the movie. The film targets the over 20’s male that likes suspense, intrigue with slow moving character and story build up. The ladies will love George Clooney.

PIRANHA 3D written review

Up until now I had thought that the Complete Collection of Friday the 13th held the record for most blood, gore and sick ways to die, that is until I saw Piranha 3D. Some may challenge me on this point, but I know they will lose. If you like your films with a lot of dismemberment, flesh tearing, human entrails dangling, decapitations and more, then this sicko is right up your ally.

LA SOGA written review

Foreign films have taken hold of America with genre’s that feed the action generation more so than romance lovers. Fitting that category comes an action thriller from the Dominican Republic. Although not the best acting and direction I’ve seen in a crime film, the storyline does provide, if reasonably based on true incidents, an interesting look at a third world government gone awry.
