That’s what happened to The Virginity Hit, a wild comedy about a teen losing his virginity to another virgin. Made in documentary style, the wobbly movie containing scenes photographed using hand-held cameras and poorly framed images become unbearable at times.

Here’s a movie that will have your children dancing in the isles and singing along with the songs. The film is called Standing Ovation and features a journey depicting five junior high school girls attempting to become dance superstars. Pre-teens and most youngsters will enjoy the encounters the team has with another local dance group and the soundtrack featuring 20 original songs.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON

Sometimes I wish I could turn back the clock and be a teenager again, because you really have to have their scope of reality to enjoy The Twilight Saga: New Moon. I know it is a story of star-crossed lovers much like Romeo and Juliet, but maybe I just can’t take slow. You have to really LOVE the characters and actors to enjoy this sequel.

Going into this film I was wondering why I was covering a film called Bandslam, but I’m glad for the assignment. This sweet teen-tween film really rocks. Topped off by some great songs by Alyson Michalka and very good acting by a fine support cast, the movie is one of the teen oriented summer’s best.

I LOVE YOU BETH COOPER

Unfortunately I saw the trailer for I Love You Beth Cooper and was expecting a lame film with some bad acting. Well I must admit, the film was quite good, with some nice performances from Rust and Panettiere and witty support by the rest of the cast. If teen movies are your passion, then run to see this film.
