Samsung’s optical disc drive division has just unveiled what it touts as the industry’s skinniest external DVD burner. The SE-218BB is 0.55 inches (14mm thick), or 18 percent thinner than regular DVD burners. The smaller size also translates to weight savings, as the company said it’s eight percent lighter than its standard external burners….
