Last week, I wrote about some movies and TV shows that are absent on DVD and asked readers to share their own picks. Apparently, there’s a lot of frustration among the DVD fans out there, because you folks responded loudly.
Still doing incredible business in theaters, Marvel’s The Avengers is on its way to DVD and Blu-ray later this year. Though an official date is still unconfirmed, an interesting tease has shown up Amazon for something called the “Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One – Avengers Assembled” Blu-ray collection.
Paramount Home Media Distribution announced today that James Cameron’s Titanic will be coming home for the first time ever on Blu-ray 2D and 3D on September 14 with more than 2 1/2 hours of new special feature content.
LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) – “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” is getting its first Blu-ray release, in honor of its 30th anniversary.
E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial will be released on Blu-ray for the first time on 12 November to mark its 30th anniversary.
Buffalo Island Veterans’ Park DVDs will be available and can be purchased at Leachville, Manila, and Monette City Halls. Barbara Lloyd, committee member, said the DVDs were created as a keepsake/fundraiser for the Buffalo Island Veterans’ Park dedication ceremony.
