Just when you thought it was safe to watch high definition videos at home, a restored version of “Jaws” is coming out on Blu-ray this August. Don’t worry, though.
It looks like Chris Evans doesn’t count himself among his biggest fans. The star of the upcoming blockbuster “The Avengers” recently opened up about his thoughts on his own movie career. “I’m surprised by any movie that is successful,” says the 30-year-old star.
This week on Blu-ray/DVD: An award-winning breakout from the 2010 festival circuit; a revealing portrait of the iconic Charlotte Rampling; one of the most controversial films to play at last year’s Cannes Film Festival; the biopic that won Meryl Streep her third Oscar; and the latest from Werner Herzog. Universal Studios Home Entertainment announced today that for the first time ever, a digitally remastered and fully restored Jaws will be available on Blu-ray on August 14 in honor of Universal’s 100th Anniversary celebration.
