New DVD releases for Tuesday, July 10, include “American Reunion,” the fourth in the “American Pie” series; “Being Flynn,” with Robert De Niro and Paul Dano; and “The Flowers of War,” a Chinese film about the 1937 massacre of Nanjing starring Christian Bale.
Still slow – perhaps post-holiday lag – for DVD and Blu-ray releases, but this week you can catch up with two of this year’s misfires, and a film that has had its reputation grow ever since it was dumped by its studio. Check out this week’s picks.
