THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE guest review

In the first film, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Larsson’s story and characters were artfully condensed down to a manageable size and the director and cast were able to achieve a logical, articulate, and breathtaking chase against time to solve a 40-year-old cold case, while introducing two instant classic screen characters. A thoroughly entertaining film, I highly recommend seeing it (now out on DVD).

HERE AND THERE written review

Making a good romantic film is pretty hard these days, especially since most of what I have seen lately just rehashes movies with a similar theme. But, now comes along a very unique film that possesses a strong bond between actors, smart scripting and keen direction providing a wonderful screen experience. If you are a true romantic at heart, don’t miss Here and There starring David Thornton and Mirjana Karanovic.

CAMILA JAM (Nome Proprio)

Powerful and wonderfully performed, Camila Jam (Nome Proprio) stands out in my mind as one of the most dramatically entertaining films I have seen in years. Totally mesmerizing, I found myself glued to the screen much like a good book you just can’t put down. If you like films with great performances of subject matter that challenges your emotions, then I recommend Camila Jam.
