I like the true story Extraordinary Measures for the message it sends and the hope that it gives to people with debilitating illnesses, but the film lacks heart. For the most part the acting is listless and direction just adequate. For those who are agonizing over wanting to see a true story involving medical discoveries, then this film should be a cure.

There haven’t been a lot of good crime drama’s that come up to par with The Departed, but some are still entertaining and worth the watch. Take the case of Edge of Darkness with a movie script that’s suspenseful, gripping and well acted. I liked the film and if you are looking for some thrills Edge of Darkness provides many.

Well the first genuine romantic comedy of the year is in release and it’s a surprisingly fun film. It’s called When In Rome and perking up the fine film is the acting of Kristin Bell and Josh Duhamel. The two have some great chemistry together depicting some awkward moments, challenges and enough kisses to last a lifetime.

I love most science fiction movies and especially those with all kinds of special effects, explosions, realistic fighting and a good storyline. Although Legion has most of these elements, the movie dragged a bit with the extensive dialogue and an unnecessary amount of character buildup.

I am a family film lover at heart and when they are produced well like Tooth Fairy, I recommend them highly. The movie has a wonderful message for children who endeavor to realize their dreams and use their imagination. And although it gets a little silly this film has a lot of good laughs, especially seeing The Rock in a Tutu.
