PALM HARBOR, Fla. – A Florida animal sanctuary says Cheetah, the chimpanzee sidekick in the Tarzan movies of the early 1930s, has died at 80. But other accounts call that claim into question.
Condolences poured in to a Florida primate sanctuary Wednesday following the death of Cheetah, a chimpanzee who starred in the Tarzan movies during the 1930s.
The comedy, starring KC native Jason Sudeikis as Eric, follows a tight-knit group of 30-year-olds, whose friendships date to high school.
