Recommended The Movie: Based on the play by Miguel Pinero, Short Eyes , directed by Robert M. Young in 1977 is a grim look at life in The Tombs' (The Manhattan Detention Complex, or The Manhattan Detention Center if you prefer, a prison in the lower part of the city widely considered at the time to be New York City's worst jail).
On Tuesday, August 26, Anchor Bay brings The Walking Dead 's fourth season to DVD and Blu-ray. In keeping with tradition, the company worked with McFarlane Toys to create a special “limited edition” package and – in this case – fans are getting the option to purchase the “Tree Walker” edition which features the flesh-eater you see here.
In my honest opinion, it really was the most underrated film of the summer. Perhaps the general movie audiences didn’t want to see another movie with Tom Cruise and a desolate wasteland (see last year’s Oblivion ). The film will definitely get a second life with its home release.
