Q.I am hearing-impaired and need closed captioning on 11 films that I have downloaded to my tablet computer.

Many of the Oscar-nominated movies that aren’t playing in theaters anymore can still be seen by movie fans who don’t mind buying DVDs and Blu-ray films – or who are in the practice of renting and buying digital movies from online services such as Amazon Video on Demand, iTunes and Google Play.
Question: Why is the sound on a Blu-ray disc not uniform? I am playing them through my Samsung Blu-ray player and an HD Panasonic TV. I don’t have a sound system, just the speakers built in to the TV.
