Sprouting some good acting from new actors The Son of No One becomes a showcase for their talent. Even with the fine acting however, the movie tends to ramble in the hands of director Dito Montiel. It becomes two films, one about a hopeless child, the other a man who has to come to terms with his unfortunate past.

The Eagle review by John Delia

The action oriented adventure The Eagle entertains, but overly dramatic acting takes the punch out of it. The simple quest storyline embedded in many other films like The 13th Warrior and Alexander makes this film a want-to-see by youngsters, especially since the trailer produces a huge build up.

FIGHTING – DVD

From the get go Fighting gets into the hard-hitting plot with some realistic bare-knuckle fistfights. I’m impressed with the movie even on DVD for the acting by Tatum, direction by Montiel and cinematography. If you like movies that have a simple storyline with swift action drama revolving around gut wrenching street fights, then this film should top your card.
