Special effects drive this film directed right to the heart of the comic book age audience. Although Green Lantern has good action, it’s not quite the brilliance of Thor or Iron Man. More with a Superman image, Green Lantern starts its quest for sequel domination. Early teens and preteens should eat this up, but it’s not for the older crowd.
Judy Moody (Jordana Beatty) definitely did not have a ‘bummer summer’ in this film! Instead she experienced one of the greatest summers anyone could imagine.The Ultimate Summer indeed. Judy Moody is just in time for summer vacation.

‘Holdover Part II’ is more like it because The Hangover Part II should be in movie theaters for a very long time. The hilarious comedy uses the same formula as in the original that got the filmmaker an amazing box office return. The writers, cast and crew did an amazing job of bringing one of the funniest movies of the year to the screen. IT’S NOT FOR KIDS.

Although the film is lacking in some respects, On Stranger Tides entertains with comedy, action and awesome 3D. Whether you’ve seen the other three or just getting started, you are in for a pirating thrill ride.
Slam the hammer Thor has opened in theaters and it’s a hard-hitting CGI adventure. Packed with action and electricity, the film makes this comic book hero a reality. With the anticipated The Avengers set for May 2012 however, this film’s more of an introduction of the character than a stand-alone hit.
The action thriller Fast Five with its hot rod theme leaves the past four episodes in the dust. High on energy, exhilarating plot and amazing chase scenes make this a must see adrenaline pumper. The opening ten minutes are so wild it took my breath away.
