Review by John Delia, Sr.

Making its way to season 3 the TV animated teen hit Star Wars Rebels continues the fight against the Imperial Army. The series starts out with the 2 part movie that aired as an introduction to the new season.  It continues through the 22 episodes each about 30 minutes of uninterrupted sci-fi drama.  Although the animation is hard line comic book computer drawn, it still gives the excitement of all the action of the live-action Star Wars films.

The episodes read like a spy thriller with titles that include “Steps into Shadows”, “An Inside Man”, “Trials of the Dark Saber”, “Double Agent Droid”, “Secret Cargo” and “Zero Hour”.  Each has a fairly nice story build up before letting loose the action. Other chapter titles lead the viewer into immediate excitement like “Hera’s Heroes”, “The Last Battle”, “Imperial Super Commandos”, “Warhead”, and “Iron Squadron”.
