Written Review by John Delia
Entering the Marvel Dynasty is the new comer She Hulk, a feisty lady that has the big man’s powers. Rolling out on Disney + in several episodes, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law the adventure starts with the Origin of She Hulk in Chapter 1.
Here we find Attorney Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) going up against a huge legal office. But, we pause and take on how Jen got to be a Hulk in the first place so you will know up front her origin. I like that idea because not all fans of Marvel know how the character came about, even though there is a full page about her in The Marvel Comics Encyclopedia that most all fans have on their shelves. But, don’t let that bother you, just tune into the new series and it’s all there, well mostly.
Not having seen many of the chapters at this point, I will tell you that I do like the attitude of Jen and the way she changes each time The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) wants her attention. Appearing in the series will be Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, Benedict Wong as Wong, Ginger Gonzaga as Nikki Ramos, Jameela Jamil as Titania, Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, and Josh Segarra as Sugustus “Pug” Pugliese.
The series has been rated TV-14 by the Television rating bureau and does contain some language, a rude gesture and action violence so far in the first episode. If you are into Marvel it’s a no brainer that you’ll tune in, but the ladies out there that like a little sci-fi action may enjoy it as well. You may even learn what “Dialectical Behavioral Therapy” is. The Series is only available on Disney + starting August 18th.
