There are enough words to describe the feeling you get when watching Jackass 3D, but to put all of them in this article will take up too much room and actually be redundant. I will use a choice few; the film is shocking, repulsive, disturbing, obnoxious, in bad taste, nauseating; you know all the things that made the previous two outings uproarious hits. Now I do not say that Jackass 3D is not for everyone, but if you fit the mold, you’ve been told.
If I describe every outlandish prank, sadistic and self-masochistic scene, it would take all the fun out of the film for those who have the stomach to sit through the nearly 2-hour flick. Instead I have included some photos that are each worth 1000 words.
Did I like the film? Well you can bet your sweet jackass. If these guys want to drench themselves in feces, shoot objects at their private parts, scare people, destroy property, etc. and all I have to do is watch, then I’m game. Knowing that these guys can take the abuse does help things a bit, but I found myself turning from the screen at times nearly retching from the results of some very sickening scenes, especially the excrement fountain gag.
The film is rated R and contains language, male private parts, brutality, sexual references, and violence among other distasteful bad things. Jackass 3D definitely should not be viewed by minors or immature adults.
I viewed the movie in 3D and it enhances the feeling that you are present during the wild and crazy antics.
FINAL ANALYSIS: Only see this film if you are not squeamish. (4 of 5)
