THE WOLFMAN Written Review

I had been anticipating the release of The Wolfman as I am a big horror film fan, especially those that contain lot of action. The trailer teased my expectation with scenes showing strong suspense and blood curdling attacks. Well, I wasn’t disappointed with the production and the special effects. If you are a fan of shock, dread and terror, than this thriller is one in which you can sink your teeth.

VALENTINES DAY Written Review

A chick flick, Valentine’s Day opens on the very weekend of the title’s romantic holiday. Cram filled with name actors, the movie beckons lovers to not only revisit their own relationships, but also see some of their favorite stars on the big screen. Although it is a fun watch, I found it unfulfilling.

EXTRAORDINARY MEASURES written review

I like the true story Extraordinary Measures for the message it sends and the hope that it gives to people with debilitating illnesses, but the film lacks heart. For the most part the acting is listless and direction just adequate. For those who are agonizing over wanting to see a true story involving medical discoveries, then this film should be a cure.

Take the case of Edge of Darkness with a movie script that’s suspenseful, gripping and well acted. I liked the film and if you are looking for some thrills Edge of Darkness provides many.

WHEN IN ROME now playing

Well the first genuine romantic comedy of the year is in release and it’s a surprisingly fun film. It’s called When In Rome and perking up the fine film is the acting of Kristin Bell and Josh Duhamel. The two have some great chemistry together depicting some awkward moments, challenges and enough kisses to last a lifetime.

LEGION still in Theatres

I love most science fiction movies and especially those with all kinds of special effects, explosions, realistic fighting and a good storyline. Although Legion has most of these elements, the movie dragged a bit with the extensive dialogue and an unnecessary amount of character buildup.

TOOTH FAIRY is in theatres

I am a family film lover at heart and when they are produced well like Tooth Fairy, I recommend them highly. The movie has a wonderful message for children who endeavor to realize their dreams and use their imagination. And although it gets a little silly this film has a lot of good laughs, especially seeing The Rock in a Tutu.

THE LOVELY BONES written review

The storyline of The Lovely Bones is extremely chilling, acting stellar and the direction for the most part very good, but the pacing especially during Jackson’s surreal scenes slows the film to a crawl at times. Even though I enjoyed the film for the content, I found myself getting antsy waiting for a resolve.
