Universal Home Video has announced that Steven Spielberg‘s JAWS will finally be released on Blu-ray on August 14th, 2012.
This week on Blu-ray/DVD: An award-winning breakout from the 2010 festival circuit; a revealing portrait of the iconic Charlotte Rampling; one of the most controversial films to play at last year’s Cannes Film Festival; the biopic that won Meryl Streep her third Oscar; and the latest from Werner Herzog. Universal Studios Home Entertainment announced today that for the first time ever, a digitally remastered and fully restored Jaws will be available on Blu-ray on August 14 in honor of Universal’s 100th Anniversary celebration.
