One of the most creative adventures from PIXAR/Disney, Cars is back in action only on Disney+. The adventure filled Cars on the Road gets released on a TV series that targets males, but is just as much fun for all the youngsters. Adults may get a bit picky on the presentation, especially if they grew up with the franchise, as it has evolved over the years making it look like TV instead of Big Screen production.
Here we find Mater in Radiator Springs as he announces that his sister is getting married. But, he has a problem as the two of them have never gotten along as children together. Urging him to go to the wedding, Lightning McQueen tells him that they could go on a road trip to his old home and on the way see a lot of new things and have an adventure.
So begins a trip that will astonish, surprise, scare a bit and find new friends while strengthening their own buddy spirit. The film keeps the original two voice talents that made the original one of the best PIXAR matchups. As the fast talking best racer in the world, Owen Wilson keeps his character exciting and bigger than life. As Mater the fun loving personality tow truck, Larry the Cable Guy keeps that down home accent while he opens his eyes to new places and friends along the road to the wedding.
Cars on the Road has not been rated by the TV rating system, but doesn’t contain any offensive material. However, it does have some scary scenes, most of which are depicted in the trailer attached to this article. It may be wise to watch the 9 ten minute chapters first or at least sit through it with the youngest children.
