The war to save the galaxy is now the cinematic war of the year. Marvel fans have been on hold for this movie for the past 10 years. From “The Incredible Hulk” through now, Marvel has kept Avengers fans on the edge of their seat. With all the anticipation for this movie, however it ends on the biggest cliffhanger of all time. In the movie they don’t give the full avengers experience and making us wait doesn’t help either. Marvel will make a second part to this movie in May of 2019. There is no set in stone name for the upcoming avengers, but it will be a part 2 to the war.

In this sequel, there are multiple Marvel characters. Thanos (Josh Brolin) (who was an evil character in the Guardians of the Galaxy) becomes the main villain in the movie. There are appearances from classic and newer marvel characters as well. For example; the classic Avengers like Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and many more take on Thanos. There are special appearances from the Guardians of the Galaxy, Dr. Strange, and the newest Avenger the Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) whose movie came out this past February 16th 2018. If you staid thru the credits in all the avengers’ characters movies, it gives you and idea of the next one and make sure you wait till the end of this one for a surprise.

The visual effects are top notch. The makeup and animation of Thanos’s face had the human face look as well as the distinct evil galaxy expression. The buildup to the upcoming destruction and the pyro technicians do an exceptional job with the use of the explosions at the most unexpected, but important, parts, so beware not to miss a beat.

Audience review of this film: “The movie was fantastic and worth going to watch it, the visuals along with the story line are great and there is loads of action. Every marvel hero in the movie had screen time (as in they had some focus on them during the movie) and as well as lots of comedy. Now even though the movie was great, it wasn’t fantastic. Not all of the avengers were in the movie, Ant Man and Hawkeye and other characters in the Marvel universe that you’d think would be in the movie; didn’t have an appearance at all. There was also a massive cliffhanger, not saying that’s a problem at all, cliffhangers have their reasons in films / shows to excite the next film or a show coming out. I guess what I didn’t like was how they ended the movie making that the cliffhanger. The way the movie ends was very unexpected and very lore changing. The battles in the movie are thrilling and extremely awesome, marvel really knows how to make a battle scene, especially the last battle they have in Wakanda. I am excited to see what the next movie has to show us and to see what happens next. My overall thoughts about this movie are that it is adrenaline pumping, action packed, unexpected plot twists, amazing CGI visuals and bits of humor throughout the movie.” per Jordan

2018 will be the year of not only with the Avengers movie. Marvel has others that are projected to be released this year as well. There will be a new Ant-Man “Ant-Man and the Wasp” (July 6th 2018) and Spider-Man “Spider-Man Into the Spider-verse (December 14th 2018) movie this year to look forward to.

This Marvel Avengers movie is rated PG-13. It contains violent action, rough language, and inappropriate gestures that are not suitable for younger viewers.
