Review by John M. Delia, Jr.

Prepare for a spectacular conclusion to the Avengers: Infinity War, which had left our heroes in a situation where they were feeling defeated. With half of the world’s population disintegrated by the mighty snap of Thanos, Earth’s people have to struggle. The Avengers: Endgame involves trying to pick up the pieces of the large amount of losses with which they now have to deal. With all of the original six Avengers still intact, but spread out all over the galaxy, they must find a way to pull together and have enough strength to find a way to rebuild our world. “It’s Do Or Die” and the clock is running.

We find Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) now stranded on Benatar, the space ship belonging to the Guardians of the Galaxy crew. Along with Nebula (Karen Gillan) they have hopes of trying to find a way to return to Earth and reunite with the rest of the team. On earth, Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) along with James “Rhodey” Rhodes/War Machine (Don Cheadle), Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Rocket (voice of Bradley Cooper) are trying to piece together what is the next step for the team.

Taking the loss of his fellow comrades hard, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) returns to his people that are now refugees from the planet of Asgard. He’s there to help try and pick of the pieces they are dealing with from the loss of their planet and the damage they have sustained from Thanos (Josh Brolin).  Not knowing what happened to Clint Barton/Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) after the Infinity War battle, Natasha is still searching for his whereabouts.

Then there’s Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), who we saw in the end credits of Infinity War, who somehow returns from the quantum realm and then starts tracking down our surviving heroes. Along with the newest superhero Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), who’s origin story was recently released, the world now wonders what her role will be in this new tale.

Directors Anthony and Joe Russo spare no expense in presenting this huge undertaking of a story and developing it out to be a true possible blockbuster. By involving the Marvel characters in an unthinkable situation, he evolves he starts their challenge to rise again to the top of their almost impossible of journey to save the Universe. Both Anthony and Joe also continue the path of including new magnificent special effects that make the Marvel universe come alive. These two artist brothers give us all a storyline that not only will thrill and amaze, but also entertain without a downside throughout the entire three hours.

There are few prerequisites needed before you watch this remarkable adventure to better understand some of the situations that occur throughout the picture. The previous films you might want to re-watch before this one are, Iron Man 3, Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Captain Marvel. This is a great flick definitely worth watching as well as the other twenty-one movies that supersede it.

Final Comment: I based my grade on the fantastic special effects, the excellent storyline, and the outstanding performance by everyone. 4.5 out of 5 Stars
