Based on a true story, the film 80 For Brady is now available on home video and on the go. The film has so many realistic tributes to fans that it’s truly worth the watch. But you don’t have to be a fan of football watch the film as the actor’s interpretation of the characters who lived it is all the fun. While it’s not a Top Ten choice, the story has many cases outrageous situations. So if you want to sit back and watch the film at home, or if you need some comedy on the go, take along this film on Digital. DVD and Blu-ray.
The elderly support living facility has cornered the market on football fans as Tom Brady heads for the Super Bowl in the Patriots final game to put another trophy in their case. Four of their ardent followers of the handsome quarterback, Lou (Lily Tomlin), Maura (Rita Moreno), Betty (Sally Field) and Trish (Jane Fonda) are ready to see him play on TV. With the game a week away however, they decide to take a leap of fate and acquire a scalper’s four tickets to see their idol in person.
What happens next is a raucous, rousing, laugh riot trip that takes the foursome to the Houston Astrodome to meet their fate. And, it’s not an easy party to crash. Director Kyle Marvin makes his movie a fast moving, fun loving comical outing for the four women, one that they will never forget. As viewers it’s filled with typical pratfalls, surprises and some knockdown drag out encounters. The cinematography is great, the scenes from the actual game electrifying and the cool addition of a number of back-up actors, make the film perfect for ages 13 plus.
