Hard to believe this comedy/fantasy was first in development as a Nicole Kidman project (the story was centered around three vacationing schoolteachers, if we remember correctly). But now the tweened-down adaptation of Jules Bass’s novel Headhunters comes across like Traveling Pants meets S-e-x and the City. Director Thomas Bezucha reappears six years after his last movie, modest hit The Family Stone.
