Kicking-Off The Last Airbender On DVD November 16th
American Taekwondo Association Students Nationwide Are Teaming Up For
An Exclusive Live Online Event With The Film’s Star And ATA’s Own Noah Ringer
Joining the Celebration In The Miami Area, Local ATA School

Who: The Last Airbender actor Noah Ringer, who stars as Aang, the lone Avatar, will team up with the American Taekwondo Association (ATA) and Paramount Home Entertainment to participate in a live streaming video event. From Los Angeles, joined by distinguished event moderator Taekwon Lee, Noah will connect with ATA students across the country to talk about his experience on the film as well as demo some of his favorite Taekwondo moves.
One of the select ATA schools nationwide, ATA Martial Arts System has been specially invited to interact directly in this discussion, and is starting the celebration this Saturday, November 13 with an open house at their school from 1:30-3:30 PM. Two years after he began studying Taekwondo at the age of 10, Noah Ringer earned his first-degree black belt, and utilized his martial arts experience to land the lead role in the live-action family adventure The Last Airbender, now on DVD. Ringer, now 13, holds the 2009–2010 title of Texas State Champion in his age group in five different categories.
What: Special cameras and monitors set up with USTREAM will enable ATA Martial Arts System to link up with Noah directly to ask questions about his martial arts background and his action-packed role on The Last Airbender from Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies. Additionally, ATA schools across the country will be setting up themed “watch parties†for the online event to mark the film’s home entertainment debut. Dedicated to the martial arts discipline of taekwondo, the ATA and its affiliates have over 1,500 licensed schools.
